Megan Lewis and the Fujifilm X-T1, a short film

What an amazing experience to work with Megan again and be a part of the daily lives of our indigenous people in the central Australian desert.

The Canon C300 produced some great images in this tough environment enabling a realistic look which I then edited on premiere pro CS6 on a macbook pro.

The aim of the project was to promote the new Fujifilm X-T1 camera through the eyes of a professional photographer. Our vision from the start was to link the new camera to a powerful story.

“Twelve years ago photojournalist Megan Lewis threw in her full-time job on the Australian newspaper, packed her 4wd and headed into the Australian desert to live with the Martu people, one of the last Indigenous groups in Australia’s Great Sandy Desert to come into contact with white people.

The out come was the much acclaimed book “Conversations With The Mob” shot on Fujifilm
